The Hauz Katz are legions beyond typical house cats, those cute cuddly creatures with soft paws and melodic mews bow before these haughty domesticated divas. While the Hauz Katz are absolutely capable of world domination with powerful fangs and claws, these beautiful beings remain aloof and dignified. They are the direct descendants of the proud, noble nocturnal beasts of ancient myth and legend, refined royal felines, confident of their status, entirely aware that they were once worshiped as Gods and Goddesses.
The Hauz Katz, cat portrait paintings by Amy E. Fraser are the cat’s meow. These fun and fantabulous works of mixed media art began as pen and ink sketches that evolved into colored pencil drawings, which were then carefully sealed in acrylic medium, shaded in acrylic washes and then painted with oil pastels on cold pressed 140 pound archival watercolor paper.
